We Are Menzies Awards 2024 global winners

2 May 2024

In December, we invited everyone to nominate their colleagues for the 2024 We Are Menzies Awards.

When the nominations closed, we had received almost 3,500 nominations globally, an increase of around 30% from last year’s nominations! We also launched a brand new sustainability category to celebrate efforts from around the company towards reaching our All In sustainability goals. From averting potential aircraft collisions, through to implementing innovative recycling solutions, the wide range of nominations showcase the commitment of our colleagues who go above and beyond every day.

The Executive Management Team had the difficult job of deciding the global winners from the regional finalists. I’m delighted to announce our employee of the year, the global values awards winners and the winners of the performance awards.

Employee of the Year

Pictured above, Gabriel Sofronea & Will Bennett, based in London Heathrow, UK and winners of the global Teamwork award were chosen as our joint employee of the year. When a colleague suffered a cardiac arrest, Gabriel and Will took turns performing CPR while the rest of the team coordinated with emergency services. Their well-coordinated response not only saved the life of their colleague but showcased their ability to respond to a crisis as a team. Congratulations Gabriel & Will on your very well deserved win!

Our values awards celebrate colleagues living our values and going above and beyond every day.
