New zero emission electric bus is now in operation at Budapest Airport
5 March 2024
As part of our drive to Net Zero by 2045, we’re excited to announce that a new, zero emission electric bus is now in operation at Budapest Airport (BUD).π
π The bus, which has the capacity to transport over 100 passengers between the terminal and the ramp, can run for 14 hours between charges. In addition to fewer emissions, it reduces noise pollution and offers passengers a comfortable ride, making it an attractive option for passenger transportation.
Converting our ground support equipment (GSE) to electric is a key part of our ‘All In’ plan for a fair and sustainable future. We’re pleased to be making tangible progress, with 40% of our GSE in Europe now electric. π
