👋 Say hello to Davide D'Amico, Station Manager at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP).

Having joined Menzies in January of last year, Davide now oversees our operations at MXP, the second largest airport in Italy. Leading a team that handles almost 100 flights a day during the summer months, Davide is responsible for upholding the highest safety standards and the efficient delivery of a broad range of services.

Asked about what he enjoys most about life at Menzies, Davide points to the company’s safety culture: “One of the things that I immediately appreciated about working at Menzies is that safety is the company’s top priority. It’s something that runs through every element of the business.”

🥇 The highlight of Davide’s Menzies career so far is being awarded the Ground Ops Gold Star of the Year award at easyJet’s Spirit Awards, held earlier this year in London. “I didn’t expect for a second that I would be given this prestigious award”, Davide recalls. “I was proud to dedicate the award to every member of the MXP team, who work so hard day after day to keep people moving.”
