Say hello to James Wong, Senior Vice President South East Asia & China, based at Menzies’ regional head office in Singapore.

James joined Menzies almost five years ago and recalls his first day fondly: “I started my Menzies career as the General Manager of the warehouse at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). I can remember turning up on my first day and witnessing the hustle and bustle of the team and seeing the camaraderie. I had this amazing feeling that I had made the right decision in joining Menzies.” 💙

Today, he is responsible for the company’s activities in South East Asia and China. Supporting all aspects of the company’s activities, he is tasked with optimising business performance, and sourcing opportunities to expand our presence across the region.

James is proudest of working with his team to secure new opportunities for Menzies, such as the recent 50% acquisition of Hong Kong-based company, Jardines Aviation Services. Speaking about the recent announcement, James said: “This project was one to remember, and announcing it was truly a recognition of the dedication, commitment, and hard work of all the people involved.” 🎉
