👋🏻Say hello to Julie Yates, Deputy CIO, Infrastructure & Service.

Julie leads our IT roadmap, focusing on IT infrastructure, security, service and support. Passionate about transformation, she’s helping to take Menzies from legacy systems to a more agile, cloud-based future.

With over eight years at Menzies, Julie loves collaborating with colleagues, to achieve the best outcomes: “I am a real people person, and it’s great to see people coming together to make things happen while utilising the strengths of every individual.” 💪

One of her proudest moments? “Launching ServiceDesk, a first in the aviation industry and setting up our first global support offices in Pakistan.”

Julie also cherishes the opportunity to give back to the communities we operate in. “I was honoured to visit a school for young children of single mothers in Islamabad, Pakistan and helping to look after the children, it was a very humbling experience that I will never forget.”

Her advice to newcomers? “Be kind. Be a team player. Success is about walking in the same direction and sharing the same passion.”
