👋 Say hello to Andrew Ward, Ramp Duty Manager at London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR).

Since joining Menzies eight years ago, Andrew has progressed from Ramp Agent, to Flight Dispatcher through to Ramp Supervisor and Ramp Assistant Duty Manager before taking his current role as Ramp Duty Manager. Career progression has been one of the best parts of life at the company for Andrew, who said: “Menzies has provided me the opportunity to grow and understand that anything is possible.” 💪

🌎 Andrew is a proud member of the Menzies GO Team, a group of employees trained and ready to work at locations across the globe on short-term assignments. Recently, he travelled to Spain to work at Barcelona Airport (BCN) for six weeks. “I met so many amazing people who I’m still in contact with now. I am so glad to have been part of this project and I’m very much looking forward to the next opportunity,” he comments.

Back at home, Andrew is responsible for overseeing ground handling operations at LHR, ensuring that the very highest safety and security standards are met through effective team management.
