👋Say hello to James Wright, Safety, Security, and Education Supervisor at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ).

James has been a part of the Menzies fuel team for almost two years, during which time he has been responsible for safely and effectively attending and refuelling commercial aircrafts at SRQ. Despite his relatively short time at Menzies, James is one of just three fuellers at SRQ to receive the coveted ‘Top Fueller Award.’⛽

More recently, James was promoted to Safety, Security, and Education Supervisor. In this new role, he will oversee and uphold the very highest safety standards and make sure that fuellers at SRQ receive the training required to take on every task safely and efficiently.

Reflecting on his career at Menzies, James explains: “Everything I do revolves around safety, continually making sure all that I and those around me are safe and secure. After that, it’s about good communications, logistics, and just doing my bit to make sure all our airline customers are given a great service and experience!”

For James, the most enjoyable part of Menzies life is working alongside his colleagues: “My co-workers are tremendous and everyone at SRQ is very friendly,” James explains. “There’s a real team culture here, with all of us sharing the common goals of safety, security, and providing excellent customer service.”
