👋Say hello to Tony Margerison, JV and Support Services Manager at London Heathrow (LHR).

Tony has worked in the fuelling industry for more than 30 years. From refuelling planes in the Royal Air Force to helping set up into-plane fuelling services for British Airways, he has a wealth of experience with roles ranging from Supervisor and Service Delivery Manager to VP Shell Operations.

Among his most memorable moments at Menzies, Tony recollects a trip to New Zealand with the ‘I have a Dream Charitable Trust NZ’. Here, a group of Menzies employees stayed with a local Maori family at their Pehiāweri Marae, where they worked with the local community, facilitated school trips to Auckland Airport, and even took part in the production of a charity record. He credits the people he works with as being his favourite part of the job, describing them as having a ‘real can do attitude’ with staff that ‘regularly go above and beyond in their work’. This includes his son, Sam who Tony recently presented his five-year service award!
