👋Say hello to Maru Maroto, Operations Support and Environmental Manager.
With more than 12 years at Menzies, Maru works at the heart of our service operations in Southern Europe, helping to deliver effective operational forecasting, and leading significant process improvement and operational change projects. She says every day brings a new challenge, and she loves that the role provides the opportunity to continue learning.
Maru is particularly proud of the team in Spain for their focus on sustainability. 🌱
Speaking about their efforts, Maru explained: “We achieved the ISO14001 certification for Spain in 2012, and since then we have renewed it periodically, improving our environmental performance. Each of our stations gets involved, helping us to reach our environmental goals.”
She enjoys starting every day with a coffee and meeting her colleagues with smiles on their faces, stating that “suddenly, any worries and problems are parked to the side and the day starts in a positive way.” 😊
