We Are Menzies Awards, ITP Operation of the Year: Edmonton, Canada

Congratulations to the team in Edmonton for winning the We Are Menzies Award ITP Operation of the Year.
The team of 45 at the station fuels around 550 flights a week with a volume of 17,500,000 litres and receives an average of seven to 14 fuel truck deliveries a day. They have nine hydrant trucks and four tankers. Edmonton has 14 regular customers and also frequently fuel many of the ad hoc flights that arrive along with cargo aircraft.
Marc Day, Station Manager tells us more about the station, “In 2022, we hired new team members to grow along with the airlines’ growth following Covid-19. We have a great relationship with the Edmonton Airport Authority and the airlines we work with. The whole team worked hard and safely with good on-time performance – we’re very proud that we’ve gone five years without a Cat A incident.
“Wining the award for ITP Operation of the Year is affirmation that everyone’s hard work is being recognised and we have a renewed energy to continue to build a great team to meet the growing needs of the airport.”
