Congratulations to AMI Auckland, winner of the We Are Menzies Award for AMI Branch of the Year.

The team at AMI Auckland handle an average of 2,000 import and export shipments per month, which represents about 750 tonnes of cargo per month through the AMI warehouse. Located in the same building as Menzies, a team of 15 work in the branch, some of whom have celebrated 30+ years of service with AMI.

Managed by Yvette Firth, the branch had a great 2022, exceeding its financial targets and maintaining an exceptional compliance and safety record. The target for 2023 is to maintain the same strong performance and AMI Auckland is continuing at the same pace with a strong start in 2023.

Johan Sandahl, SVP Asia Pacific AMI, shared his thoughts, “AMI Auckland had a fantastic 2022 and all credit to the team, both in regard to the financial and operational performance but also in regard to the compliance and safety record. AMI Auckland has a loyal customer base and thanks to the solid operational performance in the branch, as well as winning additional business from existing customers, they have added new customers to the operation.
