Priscilla started working in aviation in 2002, starting as a part-time groomer and ramp agent. After deciding an apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance engineering was not the path she wanted to take, she continued on her journey from passenger service agent to operations lead, supervisor and eventually passenger service manager. Priscilla spent nine years in that role before moving into her current role as regional training and compliance manager in the Americas, based in Winnipeg.

The nomination describes how committed Priscilla is to building strong relationships with customers: “Priscilla is the subject matter expert for the Canadian customer service area of training, drawing on her extensive knowledge and experience in this area. Priscilla was recently promoted from passenger service manager to regional training & compliance manager. The move was a result as a direct request from one of our newest key customers, flair airlines, as the airline knows that she has the experience and the drive to assist in driving compliance across the Americas.

“Priscilla's scope is Canada, USA and Central America and she has been instrumental in the start-up of flair across the region, travelling to Fort Lauderdale and Cancun for weeks at a time. Priscilla supported her home base of Winnipeg virtually and via telephone from Cancun when Winnipeg had an Emirates diversion and rescue flight to deal with. Priscilla is phenomenal in customer service training to the frontline”

Priscilla shared her reaction when Marco Mare presented her with the award: “Thank you so very much, I have never been so shocked! I worked hard to gain the trust and confidence from our airline customers, I am grateful for starting at the bottom and working my way up leading me to my role today. I am grateful to Marco for appreciating and recognizing me for this huge achievement. I am honored to be working for Menzies aviation and appreciate all the fantastic coworkers I have met and continue to meet along my journey.
