Josephine Veterana #IWD2025
3 March 2025
Ahead of this year’s International Women’s Day, we’re proud to amplify the voices of women across our business – sharing their stories and insights on the importance of diversity, community and allyship in the workplace. 🌟
Today, Josephine Veterana shares her love for the aviation industry, which began 25 years ago at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines.
Over the course of her career, Josephine has fulfilled a number of passenger facing roles for Universal Holidays, Abu Dhabi International Airport and National Aviation Services (NAS). Today, she helps to deliver important passenger handling training for Menzies’ team members in Kuwait.
“As a passionate aviation enthusiast, I always knew I had to be in this field. I’m incredibly proud of supporting new trainees, earning their trust and getting them started on their own journeys in this exciting industry.” ✈️
Thankful for the culture at Menzies, she says: “Menzies empowers women to become leaders regardless of nationality, recognising hard work, perseverance and dedication. This inclusive culture has helped me thrive.”
Her biggest inspirations include her mother, a dedicated teacher whose love for education deeply influenced her, and colleague, Samira Mounir who encouraged her to take on a leadership role. “Their strength and determination continue to inspire me every day.”
Recognised for her relentless passion in delivering training and helping others, we’re proud to have people like Josephine as part of our Menzies team. Thank you, Josephine. 💙
