👋 Say hello to Charlie Hurley, Ramp Supervisor at London Heathrow Airport (LHR).

Charlie helps keep operations running smoothly, ensuring the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft – from loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail to operating ground service equipment and coordinating with dispatchers, supervisors, and fellow ramp agents.

“What I enjoy most about working at Menzies is how they push me to excel,” Charlie says. “They’ve recognised my passion for aviation, supported my career development, and given me countless opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues.”

One of his proudest moments was returning to his former college to speak to aspiring aviation students, inspiring them to see aviation not just as a job, but a rewarding career path.

Recognising his commitment to the industry, Charlie won the Future Talent Award at the 2025 UK Aviation Heroes Awards. “It was a touching reminder of why I take pride in my role, and how much Menzies has invested in me.”

His advice? “Come in with a strong work ethic, be open to learning, and never be afraid to ask questions.”
