👋 Say hello to Francessca Aspell (Frankie), Front of House Trainer at Isle of Man Airport (IOM).

Frankie delivers operational training and develops learning content tailored to the unique needs of her station.

“Every day is different for me, which I love,” she says. “As a Trainer, you’re not just a role model, you are a mentor and a support system, not just for the duration of an induction, but throughout the Menzies journey.”

Her passion for helping new team members shine has driven projects like local MORSE Week activities, but her proudest moment was receiving her UK Aviation Hero Award earlier this year. A highlight she’ll never forget? Dancing with colleagues under the belly of Concorde after the Inaugural Aviation Hero Awards. 🪩

Outside of work, Frankie and her husband can be found off-roading, chasing sunsets, and tinkering with their collection of cars. Each year, they take part in a charity banger rally, visiting seven countries in seven days in full fancy dress (car included!) to raise money for local charities. 🏁

Her advice to others?

“Embrace being part of the aviation family. Don’t be afraid of a challenge. And most importantly, be yourself.”
