👋 Say hello to Craig Potter, Airside Lead Agent at Glasgow Airport (GLA).

Craig plays a key role in managing our ground operations, from supervising ground crew to ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft baggage and cargo. With over 10 years at Menzies, he says: “Every day is different. You see the same people who all contribute to turning aircraft safely, as part of team GLA. I couldn’t honestly see myself doing anything else.” ✈️

That dedication was on show for all to see when Craig jumped into action to save a pilot from choking, earning him the ‘Superhero Award’ at the Aviation Heroes Awards. He said: “I consider myself to be a normal guy who works hard so to be formally recognised made it even more special.”

From coordinating a B777 turnaround delivering PPE for NHS staff during the pandemic to leading by example every day, Craig continues to make a difference.

His advice? “Learn new skills and apply yourself, the possibility for progression is limitless.”
