👋 Say hello to Chris Brown, Duty Manager at Air Menzies International (AMI), a leading global wholesale freight forwarder and part of Menzies Aviation.

🎂 Having joined AMI in 1984, Chris is set to mark an incredible 40 years at the company this month. “The fast-paced, exciting nature of airfreight is the same as it was four decades ago, but the digitalization of the industry is the most radical change. It’s extraordinary to think now that everything was entirely paper based when I joined the company in 1984,” Chris reflects.

📦 Chris oversees operations of AMI’s cargo consolidations, site safety and security and risk management at London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR). Over the years he’s led several important projects, including managing the transition to an upgraded facility in 2012. “For two months I worked in the new building to make sure it was ready for what was ultimately a very successful transition.”

When he’s not working at LHR, Chris enjoys reading, spending time with family and watching his three sons playing rugby for Grasshoppers RFC in Isleworth, London. 🏉
