👋 Say hello to Marine Umulisa, General Manager at Kigali International Airport (KGL) in Rwanda.

📅 Marine joined Menzies in 2021, in the midst of the pandemic. Looking back, she reflects: “Things had not yet returned to normal, but we pulled together as a team and persevered. In doing so, we laid the groundwork for the success we’re experiencing today.”

Marine is responsible for managing the Pearl Lounge at KGL, where she oversees the delivery of first-class services to customers and steers the lounge’s business development strategy.

“Interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders is among my favourite parts of the role,” Marine says. “Additionally, I take great pride in watching my team reach new heights every day.” 💪

Asked to name a memorable project at Menzies, Marine points to the launch of the new Pearl brand, which includes the redesign of our network of more than 50 Pearl Lounges. “This revamp will see the passenger experience taken to the next level,” she says.
