We’ve been working with the Ministry of Defence in the UK to agree how we will support the armed forces community – including serving personnel (regular and reservist), veterans and their families.

As part of this, Menzies has signed the Armed Forces Covenant. This means that we commit to being an armed forces-friendly organisation, to supporting the employment of veterans and service leavers (and their families) and working with the armed forces on local and community initiatives.

In addition to signing the Covenant, we’ve been awarded the bronze employer award by the Ministry of Defence. You’ll start to see this on our recruitment websites and we will be working with the UK armed forces to promote new roles direct to veterans and service leavers.

Recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce is an important part of our People strategy, and contributes to the long term sustainable success of Menzies.
