As the world celebrated a fantastic summer of sport, colleagues at Edinburgh Park embraced the competitive spirit by participating in a padel competition and sports day.

Running over the summer months, colleagues paired up and grabbed their padel rackets for a tournament that would become the talk of the Edinburgh Park office. Of the ten starting teams, only four remain, each focused on claiming the title of 2024 Padel Champions in the final later this month.

The Edinburgh Park team also celebrated this summer of sport with a Menzies sports day. Under the rare sight of the warm Scottish sun, the atmosphere was electric as colleagues came together for a day filled with laughter and friendly competition. Teams took part in a range of activities, from relay races to rounders, before concluding the event with a medal ceremony.

The events were organised by the Edinburgh Park social team who have planned a calendar of successful social events.

Commenting on the summer of sport, the team said, “We are glad there have been enough people willing to get involved and make these events happen. Everyone has taken it in great spirit!”
