A few blocks from Graceland, the former residence of Elvis Presley, you’ll find Memphis International Airport (MEM) - home to FedEx and the largest cargo operation in the United States. As MORSE Week approaches, we’re heading there to hear about the Memphis M&O team and their impressive safety milestone.

The team of ten took over the operational management of the MEM fuel farm on 1 October 2023 and support the busy 24/7 operation. For many of the team, this is their first experience within the aviation industry.

Following a year of overhaul projects and infrastructure upgrades – in addition to the facility’s daily operations – the MEM M&O team celebrated 365 days with no injuries.
