👋 Say hello to Cong Doan, Senior Front of House (FOH) Duty Manager at Auckland Airport (AKL), New Zealand.

Cong returned to Menzies in 2017, having previously worked for the company between 2011 and 2016. Having worked in several roles over the years, he is now responsible for overseeing the Front of House operation at AKL, ensuring the highest level of quality customer service is delivered to our customer airlines and passengers. 🌟

Reflecting on the past 13 years, Cong is particularly proud to have helped a colleague he trained and mentored progress from Passenger Service Agent to Team Leader and eventually to Duty Manager. “Seeing a colleague undertake a similar career journey to me and achieve success has been a gratifying personal accomplishment,” Cong explains.

Experiencing colleagues pull together throughout the Covid pandemic is something that is particularly memorable for Cong. “Witnessing everyone supporting each other while maintaining a positive work attitude is something that I often think about,” Cong recollects. “The team spirit was something very special.” 💙

Outside of work, Cong enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and listening to music. “These activities help me relax and recharge, allowing me to bring my best self to work every day,” Cong says.
