Southwest Airlines appoints Menzies in new into-plane fuelling contract at Salt Lake City International Airport
Low-cost carrier, Southwest Airlines, has appointed Menzies to deliver into-plane fuelling (ITP) services at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) in the U.S. state of Utah. SLC is one of 24 stations across the U.S. where Menzies provides ITP services.
Under the three-year contract, teams at SLC will refuel almost 12,000 planes each year. This new contract is a major vote of confidence in our long-running partnership with Southwest Airlines, which stretches back to 1990.
Menzies to manage lounge services at Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport
Angola flag carrier, TAAG Angola Airlines, has chosen Menzies to manage lounge services at Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport (LAD), the main international airport of Angola.
Having worked with the carrier at LAD since early March this year, this 12-month contract marks the start of an exciting new partnership with TAAG.
Thai Airways reappoints Menzies
Thai Airways has reappointed Menzies to provide cargo warehouse services at Sydney Airport (SYD), Melbourne Airport (MEL) and Perth Airport (PER) for a further five years.
The renewal builds on our successful partnership with the major Asian airline. The carrier works with Menzies across Australia, Hong Kong and the UK.
Alaska Airlines expands partnership with Menzies
Teams have started to provide passenger, ramp and cleaning services at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) for major America carrier, Alaska Airlines. This marks the first time that Alaska Airlines has operated at YYZ.
Under the new contract, teams will manage daily turns, building on our existing relationship with Alaska Airlines at several other locations.
RwandAir renews contract at Entebbe International Airport
Rwanda flag carrier, RwandAir, has extended a major agreement with Menzies at Entebbe International Airport (EBB). The renewed contract will see teams at EBB continue to provide passenger, ramp and cargo services for a further three years.
Having worked with RwandAir at EBB since 2021, Menzies will now manage more than 1,300 turns each year.
