Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate one of their colleagues for a We Are Menzies Award. When the nominations closed last month, we had almost 3,500 entries which was a big increase on last year's numbers. It’s great to see so many people taking the time to recognise their colleagues for living the Menzies values.

The final numbers were:

• Integrity: 402
• Agility: 418
• Customer Focus: 402
• Sustainability: 143
• Total: 3,492

What happens next?
Our regional judging panels are working hard to choose their regional shortlists and we will be sharing them in the coming weeks. Those shortlisted will then be considered for the global awards, which will be announced during MORSE week in late April.

As a reminder, there are five individual awards that are based on peer nomination and aligned with our values: safety & security, teamwork, integrity, agility and customer focus, as well as a new sustainability award. From these categories, an overall Employee of the Year will be selected and announced alongside our top stations across FFM, ITP, Lounge, Cargo, Ground Handling, and AMI Branch.
