Susan saw the invisible

8 September 2025

Meet Susan Seale, a Security Officer and one of the 12,000 colleagues joining us from G2 Secure Staff. 👋

In August, Susan was recognised as Miami International Airport’s (MIA) Employee of the Month for her act of kindness and compassion. 🏆

This is the story of how Susan saw the invisible…

A busy airport can be a difficult place for passengers to navigate at the best of times.

Now put yourself in the shoes of a passenger with a disability that isn’t always visible and suddenly getting to your flight safely before the gate closes becomes a lot more difficult.

So, when a passenger who is a stroke survivor with limited vision needed assistance, Susan recognised the challenges they were facing and knew exactly what to do!

Showing kindness, attentiveness, and compassion, she helped the passenger with her luggage and guided her to the gate. 🛫

In the days that followed, the passenger sent this email to MIA:

“Susan’s actions went far beyond simply assisting me. She made me feel truly seen and supported during what can be a stressful process. Susan’s exceptional service is an outstanding example of how disability assistance can be both professional and deeply compassionate.”

Thank you, Susan. We are lucky to have people like you on our team! 💙
