💡 An AvGeek, short for ‘Aviation Geek’, is someone who is passionate about all things aviation.

It’s almost time to reveal more details about our AvGeek of the Week competition. But before that, we thought we’d share this story with you—which is bound to get any AvGeek excited! 🤩

It comes from our colleagues in Entebbe, Uganda who had the privilege of handling Ethiopian Airlines’ brand-new ✨Airbus A350-1000✨.

The state-of-the-art aircraft, known by the name “Ethiopia Land of Origins”, offers passengers an enhanced onboard experience and is the only of its kind currently operated within Africa, by an African airline. 🌍

Nouamane Zahouani, Vice President Central & East Africa said, “As Ethiopian Airlines remains our largest customer in Uganda, we take immense pride in supporting their expanding fleet and growth ambitions, which align with the growth strategy of Menzies Aviation, both in Africa and beyond”.
