To kickstart MORSE Week, colleagues at Gatwick Airport (LGW), UK participated in a FOD retrieval exercise. 🚮

The friendly competition between teams focused on reinforcing the importance of debris removal to reduce the risk of aircraft damage or potential injury. 🦺

Hayley Maynard, Training Support Manager UK, said: “MORSE Week is my favourite time of year and exercises like this prove exactly why. Not only was it good fun, albeit with a lot of walking, but it also reinforced the importance of taking action when you spot something that looks unsafe.” 🗣️

When it came to the results of the competition, Hayley was unequivocal in saying: “Our team definitely won - just look at the number of rubbish bags we collected in an hour!” 🌟
