Menzies secures new ground handling license at Kuala Lumpur International Airport
Teams at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) are set to begin delivering passenger, ramp and cargo services from January. This comes after Menzies Aviation Malaysia – a joint venture (JV) with Malaysian supply chain management company, MMAG Holdings – secured a new ground handling license to operate at the airport.
Private aviation company MJets will be our first customer at the airport, with more than 30 flights per week managed by Menzies’ teams. This marks the first time that the company has operated in Malaysia, representing a significant increase in our footprint across South East Asia.
Qantas renews key agreement with Menzies
Qantas, the flag carrier of Australia, has renewed a major contract with Menzies at Perth Airport (PER) and Brisbane Airport (BNE) for a further two years.
Teams at the two airports will handle almost 35,000 turns each year, delivering ramp and passenger services. This renewal builds on a relationship that stretches to several locations across the globe.
Shenzhen Airlines appoints Menzies at HKG
Shenzhen Airlines, a subsidiary of Air China, has awarded a new ground handling contract to Menzies CNAC. The agreement will see teams at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) provide passenger and ramp services for the airline over the next three years.
Under the new agreement, Menzies will handle more than 1,400 turns each year at the airport.
