Family fundraising for Cancer Research

3 July 2024

Katy Reid, Head of Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility recently took part in the Race for Life in Fife, Scotland.

Katy, pictured above on the far left, and her brother completed the 10km race while her sister-in-law and nephews took on the 5km race. As well as her youngest nephew coming first in the 5km, the family raised more than £850 for Cancer Research, including a donation from the JMM Community Fund.

The John Maxwell Menzies (JMM) Community Fund was created to encourage employees to participate in charitable, voluntary and community related activities, either individually or as part of a team. The fund has contributed many thousands of pounds to our employees over the years, whether that’s running a race for charity, fundraising for a local children’s sports team, or simply being passionate about a particular cause. We hope you will get involved.
