Menzies expands presence in the Americas with new multi-carrier contract at RFD

Menzies teams have commenced providing freighter handling services for three carriers at Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD), with cargo services soon to follow.

Under the new, multi-year contracts with Amerijet International, Atlas Air and Magma Aviation / Atlanta Air, Menzies is responsible for handling nearly 600 turns annually. This is the first time that Menzies has provided freighter handling and cargo services at RFD, reflecting the company’s growing presence in the region.

Silk Way West expands partnership with Menzies

Azerbaijani cargo airline, Silk Way West, has appointed Menzies Cargo to deliver twice-weekly freighter handling and airside trucking services at Heathrow Airport (LHR).

While Menzies already works with the carrier at Jinnah International Airport (KHI) and Lahore International Airport (LHE), this three-year contract sees the partnership expand to LHR for the first time.

Menzies wins contract with Azerbaijan Airlines

Menzies has expanded its portfolio of customers at Baghdad International Airport (BGW) after signing an agreement with Azerbaijan Airlines, the national flag carrier.

Under the two-year contract, BGW teams will handle two flights per week. This is the first time that Menzies has worked with the airline, with plans to expand the partnership under discussion.

Tarco Aviation and Menzies strengthen partnership with contract renewal

Sudan-based airline, Tarco Aviation, has reappointed Menzies to deliver passenger, ramp and cargo services at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), the sole international airport in Uganda.

The three-year contract builds on a partnership with the airline that dates back to February 2018. Local teams are expected to manage two turns per week at EBB.
