We are thrilled that our commitment to the Portuguese aviation sector was recognised at last week’s Portugal Business Awards 2024. 🎉

Hosted by the Department for Business and Trade at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Lisbon, the annual Portugal Business Awards is designed to reward and publicly recognise the entrepreneurial effort of Portuguese companies that have chosen the United Kingdom as an investment destination, as well as British companies that have achieved success in Portugal.

Menzies was awarded the accolade off the back of its commitment to the Portuguese aviation industry, through its acquisition of a controlling stake in leading Portuguese ground handler, Groundforce. This represents a decisive step towards the recovery of Groundforce, reinforcing the confidence of all its stakeholders in the future of the company.
