In partnership with Air Serbia, we recently performed the first ever fully electric turnaround at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG), building on the green turns we perform across Europe and beyond. 💚

🔌 Having worked with the airline at Belgrade Airport since last month, we’re proud that our electric first approach has played a key role in rapidly reaching this exciting milestone. Over 40% of our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in Europe is now powered using renewable energy, from baggage tractors to passenger steps with solar panels.

Having the capability to carry out fully electric turns forms an important part of our ambitious plan to reach net zero across our operations by 2045.

🤝 This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without a collaborative effort between Menzies, Air Serbia and Belgrade Airport, which has invested heavily in the charging infrastructure required for electric equipment.
