Congratulations to Bwire Gonza, Operations Team Leader at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), Uganda who has been recognised for his dedication to ramp safety at this year’s GHI PRIDE of Ground Handling Awards 2023. 🎉 

Bwire was nominated for his diligence and attentiveness on the ramp when he spotted an open underwing refuelling panel. He quick intervened and reported the highly sensitive hazard, and working with aircraft ground maintenance teams, resolved the issue enabling the flight to depart safely. ✈️
