In January, Robert Slivka, from the Oslo (OSL) team spotted some damage on a horizontal stabilizer during his arrival walkaround check. The damage was not easy to see from ground level as it was dark and there had been some snowfall. Technicians from Norwegian Airlines decided to take the aircraft out of operation for further inspection.

The Norwegian Airlines safety department was impressed by our agent’s awareness and recognised this with an award, presented during MORSE Week. Robert is now a Crew Chief and always puts safety first.
