New operations in Chile and Costa Rica

Our rapid growth in Latin America continues. In Costa Rica, we have been awarded licenses to operate ground services at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and at Liberia Guanacaste Airport (LIR). We’re also expanding our portfolio at SJO with a cargo facility in partnership with Terminales Unidas (TUSA).

In Chile, following the acquisition of a controlling stake in Agunsa Aviation Services last year, Menzies Agunsa has secured permits to provide air cargo services with a 65,000 square foot on-airport cargo warehouse at Santiago de Chile Airport (SCL). This builds on our existing ground services business at SCL.

LGW and CPH all aboard Sky express

Our London Gatwick and Copenhagen teams will welcome a new customer next month - SKY express. We will provide passenger, ramp, cleaning and de-icing services at both locations for the Greek carrier. Both contracts are for three years with our London Gatwick crew handling a daily flight to Athens and Copenhagen supporting the airline's seasonal charter programme.

New customer for Menzies Macau

Our Macau team welcomed Thai VietJet's maiden flight earlier this month from Bangkok. We will provide ground services for the low-cost airline's four A320 Airbus flights per week from Thailand's capital city.

Menzies Macau wins Spring Airlines Best Business Partner Award

Menzies Macau was recently awarded Spring Airlines Best Business Partner Award for providing safe, secure and high-quality customer service. The Chinese mainland and island-based carrier, which operates a daily Airbus A320 flight from Shanghai Pudong to Macau, has partnered with us for more than 11 years. Our Macau team were presented with the award in February. Congratulations!
