Glasgow cycling for Comic Relief

17 March 2023

Comic Relief is a major UK charity, with a vision of a just world, free from poverty. On 17 March, the Menzies Glasgow team, with support from Glasgow airport held a day of red within the terminal to support Red Nose Day and Comic Relief.

The team were attempting to cycle the distance of 345 miles (or 654km) which is the flying distance from Glasgow airport to London Heathrow in a day, with some help from Glasgow airport and Menzies colleagues to help raise as much money as possible.

They held a day of fun and music to help bring the atmosphere to the terminal to support the team to cycle the distance within the day. And not only did they complete the challenge, they did it with 12 hours to spare!

If you would like to support the team, you can donate to their fundraiser and support Comic Relief.
