Huge congratulations to Bangalore Cargo for achieving the first 5 Star Audit Award Plaque.

This is a new award introduced this year to congratulate those stations that achieve a 5 star result from our internal audit programme.

The Menzies Aviation Internal Audit programme focuses on ‘what matters most’, we have introduced a new risk-based 5 x 5 audit score, that gives the auditors the ability to ensure that the results are meaningful, supportive and add value to the continuous improvement of our standards, procedures and performance at the various business units.

The new assessment process means it will no longer be ‘easy’ to achieve a 5 star result and the locations that achieve these awards will be uniquely recognised and celebrated.

Our cargo unit in Bangalore has always been recognised by our customers for maintaining the highest possible standards, and we were delighted this was reflected in their recent internal audit.

Well done Anil Kumar, Gopa Kumar and all the team in Bangalore. We look forward to seeing which business unit will be the next to achieve a plaque!
