We're honoured to announce that Menzies Aviation has been awarded the Gold Award at this year's Ministry of Defence (MOD) Employer Recognition Scheme. it confirms our forces-friendly credentials and our ongoing pledge to align our values with the Armed Forces Covenant.

From experience, we know people from the Armed Forces have the skills and attributes that we value and provide a significant contribution to our global workforce. We're committed to supporting and championing veterans, reserves and cadets and providing and providing a welcoming work environment.

Juliet Thomson, Chief People Officer, Menzies Aviation, said: “Aviation has a deep-rooted military history and at Menzies we recognise the valuable skill set that armed forces personnel can and do offer to our sector. We are deeply honoured by this recognition, just one year after receiving the Silver Award in 2022, and pledge to continue honouring and supporting the Armed Forces community.”

Minister for Defence People, Veterans and Service Families, Dr Andrew Murrison said: “I would like to thank all the organisations that have been recognised in this year’s awards. Their continued support demonstrates the unique benefits and strengths that our Armed Forces community can bring to the workplace.” Menzies Aviation is one of 193 organisations from across the UK that has been recognised this year, the tenth year of the awards scheme.
