Giving back to the community

As life gets back to normal in Macau, the team is working hard to assist their customers to resume normal operations. They also wanted to do something to give back to communities still feeling the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

During February, the team arranged for epidemic prevention supplies to be donated to the Caritas Macau Centre, which helps disadvantaged groups and workers in Macau.

Also in February, Menzies Macau launched a fundraising operation to help the survivors of the earthquake on the border of southern Turkey and northern Syria. Knowing that the Turkish authorities urgently needed supplies, they asked for donations such as warm clothing and quilts to provide survivors with some warmth and comfort.

They were overwhelmed with donations and the supplies were loaded on two separate flights and delivered to Turkey.

2022 Safety Award

At the end of a difficult 2022, the Macau team were delighted to be granted a Menzies safety award for their outstanding safety record of no Cat A's for three years. The award recognises the hard work and commitment to safety from all the team - congratulations to the team for a job well done!
