Congratulations to Andri Nicolaidou, from our Larnaca station, for winning a Cyprus Hospitality Award for exceptional customer service.

Andri was praised by a passenger for going above and beyond her duties to help them obtain the documents they needed for their flight back to the UK during the Covid-19 pandemic. The passenger didn’t have the documents when they arrived at Larnaca (LCA) airport and described how without Andri’s patience and professionalism they would not have made their flight. Andri remained calm and was able to resolve the problem.

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism, recognising the importance of the human element in the quality of tourism and hospitality services selected our nomination for the Travel Experience category of the Cyprus Hospitality Awards, and it received a score of more than 80% from the jury.

The ceremony took place this morning, Thursday 30 March 2023 at the Conference Centre in Nicosia. Andri is pictured above with Panayiotis Hadjigeorgiou, Terminal Duty Manager at LCA.
