On Sunday 28 August, Baghdad held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for their new GSE maintenance facility. The ribbon was cut by General Manager Stuart Hind and maintenance operations commenced.

MASIL, Menzies joint venture with Iraqi Airways, started ground services operations in January 2021 and this opening comes after 18 months of R&D, planning and procurement.
