It was truly inspiring to see some of the fantastic activities and initiatives at our stations during MORSE Week. Thank you to all our colleagues and leaders across the globe for their commitment and engagement with this initiative including our new colleagues in the MEAA region!

Our focus continues with the promotion of our industry-leading safety principles of Menzies, Operating, Responsibly, Safely & Effectively – MORSE and to reinvigorate, inspire, and influence behaviours that will ultimately lead to preventing incidents..

This was one of the most successful MORSE focus periods that we have ever seen:

• Traffic to the WeAreMenzies.com MORSE Week pages and news articles increased significantly
• Of the users subscribed to the MORSE Week 2022 Teams, there were 561 active users, 125 posts, 62 replies, and 897 reactions (emojis)
• As more stations implement Frictionless/Swift “MORSE” reporting tool we recorded approx. 300 Hazard/Near Miss reports during MORSE week alone
• The MORSE challenge – Unlock the code has been played 26,000 times this month with a noted increase during MORSE week

Thank you to all for living and breathing the MORSE code. It was great to see more than 90 of the senior leadership team getting involved in the activities and spending time listening to and supporting our teams at over 160 locations.
