After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Glasgow team were delighted to welcome back Canadian airline WestJet last week.

We provide full ground handling for WestJet at Glasgow – passenger services, ramp, dispatch and cleaning - and will handle two flights a week, increasing to eight from 20 May.

The Glasgow team is also supporting Edinburgh for their first WestJet flight on 3 June, including sharing their experience with Edinburgh trainers ahead of them completing train-the-trainer Westjet courses.

Debbie McCrae, Passenger Services Manager at Glasgow said: “It was great to see the teal tail back at Glasgow after just over two years. A big well done to the team for all the preparation leading up to WestJet’s return - the hard work paid off for a successful first flight this week. It was a great day for the team as you could see spirits lift with an airline they enjoy and giving hope that the aviation industry is continuing to recover after the pandemic.”
