Emerging Leaders - May 2022 Graduates
25 May 2022
The Emerging Leaders programme is a 12-month leadership and development program for team members who want to grow their career at Menzies. Currently available in the Americas region, it is targeted at team members who are aiming to take on a new role in the next one to three years.
The programme covers 12 leadership competencies through eLearning modules, lunch and learn sessions and hands-on activities to help participants apply the skills to their role. Participants also regularly meet with their GM/line manager for support and receive quarterly leadership development updates to get an external perspective on leadership.
We’re proud to congratulate our May graduates who were the first to join and complete the programme. Thank you for providing equal parts of enthusiasm, feedback, and excellence!

Here’s what some of our graduates had to say:
“The lunch and learns were my favorite part, putting the content into real terms and then working with the group on how the subject matter can be applied in different ways to different people and situations.”
“The managing teams module helped to improve the way I'm managing my agents where we both benefit in the end; getting the work done and building good relationships with them.”
“My communication skills have improved and I can communicate more effectively with my colleagues and customers. I’m still working on difficult conversations but my colleagues think that I have got much better.”
“The modules were a good mix of new learning new things and refreshing what I already knew.”
Emerging Leaders is currently available to all team members in the Americas region. Team members can join the program year-round and the content is available in English and Spanish. Reach out to Mary Briggs if you have any questions about the programme.
