The Americas training group is happy to welcome Ricky Okpulor to Menzies Aviation for a summer internship. Ricky is currently a senior accounting major at The University of Texas at Dallas. He is supporting the leadership and development efforts in the region, focusing on Emerging Leaders and Babbel for Business.

Ricky shared, “The skillset people acquire at Menzies is desirable, especially the communication and leadership. They also align with my personal goals, so I knew I did not want to pass up this opportunity.”

“My training has been very thorough and I have been able to connect and begin forging my path at Menzies. The culture has been nothing short of welcoming.”

While the Americas region doesn’t have a formal internship program with a university, interns support the business as roles are available. Mary Briggs, Director of Leadership and Development looks forward to welcoming more interns via a more formal internship program.

She shared, “Having worked with high school and college students in previous roles, I’ve seen firsthand the type of insight and enthusiasm these young adults can bring to organizations. Menzies has an opportunity to recruit team members at the start of their careers and shape the future of the aviation industry.”
