Sydney welcomes back British Airways
18 April 2022
After a two-and-a-half-year absence, British Airways resumed flights to Sydney International Airport and the Menzies team were delighted to welcome them back.
With only three weeks’ notice of the start-up date, the team had to prepare customer service, ramp and cargo agents with refresher courses to be ready for the first daily flight.
Some of the team first worked with British Airways when Menzies held the contract close to ten years ago and their experience and connection to the brand played a critical role in the start-up. Special mention for their effort go to:
- Masum Patel, Passenger Services Operations Manager
- Louie Moussa, Ramp Operations Manager
- Johann Tahija, Ramp Training Duty Manager
- Claudine DeSilva, Passenger Services Trainer
- Daren Saxby, Passenger Services Trainer
- Dimi Likoudis, Passenger Services Operations Manager
