Melbourne Orlando International Airport, Florida recently welcomed their first-ever transatlantic flight and European airline, TUI Airways. The Menzies team provides passenger and ramp services for the daily TUI flights into Melbourne Orlando and were ready when the TUI Boeing 787 Dreamliner touched down with a planeload of British holidaymakers looking for some Florida sunshine.

Ahmed Moustafa, Passenger Services Training Supervisor in Toronto travelled from Canada to Florida to help the team train the 30 newly hired passenger service agents in preparation for the first flight.

Ahmed said: ‘It's been a pleasure to be a part of the TUI airline station start-up at Melbourne Orlando, and to be a part of the support training team. The passenger services team was so excited to welcome the first passengers and manage the first departure. I wish the Menzies team at Melbourne Orlando all the best and every success.’
