Menzies employees throughout Romania are taking part in the national coronavirus vaccination programme, which gives priority to people working in the transport sector.

So far, half of all active employees have received the vaccination – that’s around 140 people in total.

Alina Serban, Romania Human Resources Manager (pictured), has now had both injections and explains why this is important for Menzies; “We care about our colleagues and we want them to be safe from coronavirus, and for our customers to feel safe working with us. With some countries now requiring evidence of vaccination before you can travel, it is important to the recovery of the aviation industry that we do what we can to reduce the spread of coronavirus.”
