The Menzies Aviation Hungary team at Budapest Airport welcomed Prime Minister Orban on to the ramp to observe the welcome and specialist unloading of a shipment of Covid-19 vaccines from a Ministry of Foreign Affairs A330 Cargo Airbus operated by Wizz Air.

This shipment of 450,000 Sinopharm vaccines was transported at a continuous low temperature within a special receptacle checked and logged by Menzies specially trained staff.

Adrian Yazdi, VP Eastern Europe, said: “We are proud to be working closely with all carriers and particularly Budapest Airport to support with the essential distribution of vaccines. The team was delighted to be able to explain the specialist process involved to Prime Minister Orban today. This is the second Sinopharm shipment the team has handled and we stand ready to support on the safe and efficient distribution of more vaccines arriving into Budapest and at Menzies stations across the world.”
