Champion performance at Menzies London Gatwick

Last month, the Menzies team at London Gatwick helped Chelsea Football Club and fans on their way to success in the UEFA Champions League final.
Menzies handled flights for the players and staff travelling to Porto in Portugal to face Manchester City. And they supported Jet2 to fly around 1,000 fans to Portugal to watch the game – this included passenger and ground handling services.
Not only was the weekend a win for Chelsea (who won 1-0) but it was also a win for the Menzies team at London Gatwick where the pandemic has resulted in a significant reduction in flight and passenger numbers. For the first time in over a year, the team had four aircraft on the ground and were able to work together to ensure a smooth out-of-hours operation.
